Best Teachers Awards 2021 application portal to open on June 7

An award aimed to recognise the meritorious faculties on the Engineer's Day on September 15, the portal to send applications will be opened on June 7.

The application portal for the second edition of AICTE Visvesvaraya Best Teacher Awards will be opened from June 7. The Awards was introduced in 2020 to identify extraordinary teachers and recognise their excellence, best practice and innovativeness in the field of higher technical education at the national level for Degree and Diploma institution.

The application portal for the second edition of AICTE Visvesvaraya Best Teacher Awards will be opened from June 7. The Awards was introduced in 2020 to identify extraordinary teachers and recognise their excellence, best practice and innovativeness in the field of higher technical education at the national level for Degree and Diploma institutions.his scheme is aimed to recognise the meritorious faculties on the Engineer's Day on September 15 every year at national level and, encourage them to update themselves to the ever changing needs of higher education at global level and thereby becoming an effective contributor towards the society.

The first ever AICTE - Visvesvaraya Best Teachers Award was presented to 12 faculty members of AICTE approved institutes in 2020.

Regular teachers/ faculties working in AICTE approved degree level and polytechnic institutions are eligible to be nominated. Age limit for faculties to be nominated for award is 55 years as on the last date for application. Only one nomination per institute per year would be considered.
