BHU Invites Applications for MBA and MBA-IB Programmes for 2026–28 Session

New Delhi:The Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced the commencement of admissions for its MBA and MBA–International Business (MBA–IB) programmes for the academic session 2026–28.

The university is offering 59 seats each in both programmes.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA):Specialisations include Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations Management, and Information Technology.

• Master of Business Administration – International Business (MBA–IB):Specialisations include Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations Management, Information Technology, and Global Business Operations, as per the university’s prevailing ordinance.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission to both programmes will be based on scores obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT). Applicants must hold a graduate degree under the 10+2+3 system, or a postgraduate degree in any discipline. Candidates with degrees in Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Medicine, Education, or Law are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process

Admissions will be granted on the basis of a combined merit score, which includes:

• 50% weightage for the CAT score (conducted by IIMs)

• 20% weightage for academic records

• 15% weightage for group discussion

• 15% weightage for personal interview

The selection process aims to identify candidates with strong academic backgrounds and managerial potential.
