CAT 2025: IIM Kozhikode Extends Registration Deadline, Check New Dates

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has extended the deadline for CAT 2025 online registration and application. Candidates can now apply until September 20, 2025 (5 pm) on the official website — iimcat.ac.in. The earlier deadline was September 13, 2025 (5 pm).
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 will be conducted on November 30, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 170 cities in India.
Prof. P.N. Ram Kumar, Convener of CAT 2025 and faculty member at IIM Kozhikode, said:
“To accommodate the significant volume of requests from MBA aspirants, we have decided to extend the application deadline for CAT 2025. This extension will provide all interested candidates with an adequate opportunity to complete their applications.”
Important Dates
CAT 2025 Registration Begins: August 1, 2025
Last Date to Apply: September 20, 2025 (5 pm)
Admit Card Release: November 5, 2025
CAT 2025 Exam: November 30, 2025
Result Announcement: First week of January 2026
After registrations close, IIM-K will open a short edit window for candidates. During this period, applicants can make changes to limited fields such as name, photograph, signature, and test city preferences.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree with required percentage of marks
OR professional qualification (CA/CS/ICWA/FIAI) with required marks
OR final-year bachelor’s degree students
Minimum marks required: 50% (General, EWS, NC-OBC), 45% (SC, ST, PwD)
Application Fee (Revised for 2025)
SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,300 (up from ₹1,250 in 2024)
All other candidates: ₹2,600 (up from ₹2,500 in 2024)
Documents Required
Class X & XII certificates and marksheets
Birth certificate and valid ID proof
Category certificate (if applicable)
Work experience certificates (if applicable)
Passport-size photograph & signature in prescribed format

Click on “New Candidate Registration”
Enter personal details (name, DOB, email, mobile, etc.) and verify via OTP
Complete additional details as required
Submit the application and pay the fee
Candidates are advised to complete the registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
