CBSE Releases Date Sheet for Special Exams for Sportspersons

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for special examinations for students who participated in national and international sports events during the main board exams for the 2024-25 session.

As per the notification, Class 10 exams will be conducted from April 7 to April 11, 2025, while Class 12 exams will be held on April 11, 2025.

Students will take the exams at their pre-assigned centers. Fresh admit cards will be available for download for those appearing in these exams.

Class 10 Examination Schedule:

• April 7, 2025 – English Language and Literature, Hindi Course 'A', French

• April 8, 2025 – Science

• April 9, 2025 – Social Science, Multi-Skill Foundation Course

• April 11, 2025 – Hindi Course 'B', Sanskrit

Class 12 Examination Schedule:

• April 11, 2025 – English Core, Chemistry, Physical Education, Hindi Elective, Hindi Core

The board conducted Class 10 exams from February 15 to March 18, 2025, while Class 12 exams began on February 15 and will conclude on April 4, 2025. Following the completion of the regular board exams, CBSE will hold special exams for sportspersons. The evaluation process will commence only after all board exams are completed, as stated earlier by CBSE’s Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj.
