Civil Services Main Examination 2025 Results Out

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025, held from August 22 to August 31, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official UPSC websites — https://www.upsc.gov.in and https://www.upsconline.gov.in.

Candidates who have qualified in the Main examination will next appear for the Personality Test (Interview) — the final stage for selection to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

UPSC will announce the schedule for the Personality Tests or Interviews shortly. The interviews will be conducted at the UPSC Office, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The e-Summon Letters for the interviews will be made available on the official UPSC websites. In case of any difficulty in downloading the e-Summon Letter, candidates may contact the Commission’s office through letter or phone.

Qualified candidates must log in to the UPSC portal to update or verify their educational qualifications by uploading the necessary documents as proof. They must also update or confirm personal and professional details, including:

• Correspondence and permanent address

• Higher educational qualifications and achievements (if any)

• Employment details or service experience

• Service allocation details from previous Civil Services Examinations (if applicable)

• Marital status, PwBD details, parental information, and debarment status

• Information on previous examination attempts

• OBC/EWS annexure (if applicable)

• Socio-economic questionnaire responses

Even candidates who have previously uploaded all required information are required to log in, verify their details, and submit the confirmation to generate the e-Summon Letter for the Personality Test.
