GATE 2026 Exam Schedule Released By IIT


New Delhi:The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the complete examination schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. Candidates can now check the detailed timetable on the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

GATE, a national-level entrance test crucial for admissions to postgraduate programmes across engineering, technology, architecture, sciences, commerce, arts, and humanities, will be conducted over four days in February 2026. The exam will cover 30 papers, divided into forenoon (9:30 am–12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm–5:30 pm) sessions, enabling candidates to plan their preparations systematically.

The examinations are scheduled from February 7 to February 15, 2026 and will be held at centres across India under the supervision of various IITs. Results are expected to be declared on March 19, 2026.
