Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the launch of three new academic programs for the 2025–26 session — Undergraduate (UG) courses in German Studies and Japanese Studies, along with an Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling. Application forms are now available online for interested candidates.
Courses Offered
BA in German Studies / BA in Japanese Studies
Introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2025 as part of the Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP).
Curriculum focuses on cultural studies, translation, interpretation, and industry-oriented applications.
Designed to strengthen students’ global career opportunities in fields such as international relations, academia, business, and diplomacy.
Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling
Accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Prepares students for careers as RCI-approved counselors.
Career prospects include roles in schools, healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, government departments, and NGOs (national & international).
