JMI Introduces New UG Programs in German & Japanese Studies, Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the launch of three new academic programs for the 2025–26 session — Undergraduate (UG) courses in German Studies and Japanese Studies, along with an Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling. Application forms are now available online for interested candidates.

Courses Offered

• BA in German Studies / BA in Japanese Studies

  • Introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2025 as part of the Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP).

  • Curriculum focuses on cultural studies, translation, interpretation, and industry-oriented applications.

  • Designed to strengthen students’ global career opportunities in fields such as international relations, academia, business, and diplomacy.

• Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling

  • Accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

  • Prepares students for careers as RCI-approved counselors.
