Gurugram, July 12: King’s College, one of the United Kingdom’s prestigious educational institutions, has officially launched its first campus in India, located in Gurugram. Marking a significant expansion of its global footprint, the new campus is a K-12 international school focused on holistic student development beyond academics.

Rooted in British academic excellence, the Gurugram campus blends time-honoured educational traditions with modern teaching practices. Designed to nurture creativity, leadership, and global citizenship, the school’s curriculum promotes adaptability, critical thinking, and problem-solving—skills essential for success in an increasingly interconnected world.

The state-of-the-art campus boasts dedicated arts and sports centres, a discovery room, a cutting-edge library, and tech-enabled classrooms, all aimed at fostering an engaging and innovative learning environment.

Leading the institution is Headmaster Dirk Leidinger, a veteran German educator known for championing international pedagogy. Under his leadership, the school emphasizes cross-cultural learning and international collaboration through student exchange programmes and global projects, reinforcing its commitment to a globally conscious education.

The Gurugram campus joins the ranks of other international branches such as those in Doha, Qatar, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While the Doha school blends British values with the local Qatari context, the Riyadh campus plays a key role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s educational transformation efforts.

With the opening of the Indian campus, King’s College aims to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to navigate and lead in an ever-evolving global landscape.
