Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty was honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest recognition in cinema, at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 8, held at Vigyan Bhawan. The award, presented by President Droupadi Murmu, celebrated Chakraborty's outstanding contributions to Indian cinema.
