OPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024: Exam Date, Pattern, and Key Details

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced that the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024 will be conducted on October 12, 2025 (Sunday). Candidates can access the detailed notification and updates on the official website — opsc.gov.in.

Exam Pattern

• The prelims will consist of two objective-type papers, each carrying 200 marks.

• Both papers will follow a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format.

• Negative marking will apply for incorrect responses. However, in certain questions, marks will be awarded based on the degree of correctness, i.e., the most appropriate and less appropriate answers will be scored differently.
