University of San Diego Launches Online Master’s Programmes in Technology for Indian Professionals

New Delhi, July 21, 2025: The University of San Diego (USD) has announced the launch of its online master’s degree programmes in cutting-edge technology fields, now available to working professionals in India for the first time. These fully online, asynchronous courses offer Indian students the opportunity to earn a US-accredited master’s degree without the need to relocate or pause their careers.

Indian professionals can now apply to USD’s Master of Science programmes in Applied Artificial Intelligence, Applied Data Science, Cyber Security Engineering, and Cyber Security Operations and Leadership. Previously available only to students in the United States, these programmes are being extended internationally for the first time.

Designed to be completed in 20 months, the programmes follow a flexible, asynchronous format with weekly milestones. The curriculum mirrors that of the on-campus courses, and graduates will receive the same USD-accredited degree as their US-based peers.

Admissions for the Fall 2025 intake are currently open, with the application deadline set for August 1, 2025. Classes are scheduled to begin on September 2, 2025.

To be eligible, candidates must hold either a four-year undergraduate degree with at least second division or a three-year degree with first division. English language proficiency is also required, demonstrated through an IELTS score of 7, a Duolingo English Test score of 120, or by having completed two years of prior education in English.

The total cost of the programme is approximately Rs 10.49 lakh, with scholarships and financial aid available to reduce the financial burden for high-potential applicants.

Students will benefit from access to USD’s global alumni network, mentorship opportunities from industry professionals, and an optional two-week on-campus immersion in the United States.
