Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics, IT, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, urged students to develop their technology and digital abilities on Saturday since start-ups and innovations will increase job prospects over the coming ten years.
According to the Minister, India now has the fastest-growing economy and the largest level of foreign investment. He noted that although the nation imported 92% of its mobile phones in 2014, it now manufactures 97% of them and exports them for 70,000 crore rupees.
Chandrasekhar was interacting with students of the St Paul’s School in Thrissur, where he spent his primary school days in the late sixties.
