Bihar Post-Matric Scholarship 2025: Applications Open

The Bihar Education Department has opened applications for the Post-Matric Scholarship 2025. Eligible students can register from August 25, 2025 on the official portal — pmsonline.bihar.gov.in.

Separate registration links have been provided for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates and for Backward Classes (BC)/Economically Backward Classes (EBC) candidates.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Bihar.

• Belong to SC, ST, BC, or EBC categories.

• Annual family income must not exceed ₹3 lakh.

• Must have cleared the previous qualifying examination.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website — pmsonline.bihar.gov.in.

2. Select the registration link:

   • SC/ST students: scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in

   • BC/EBC students: pmsonline.bihar.gov.in

3. Fill in the required details — name, Aadhaar number, date of birth, mobile number, email, etc.

4. Submit the form to complete the registration process.

• Aadhaar Card

• Bihar Residential Certificate

• Caste Certificate (issued by competent authority)

• Income Certificate (2024-25)

• Disability Certificate (if applicable)

• Fee Receipt from institution

• Bonafide Certificate (if applicable)

• Certificate of last examination passed
