New Delhi, July 3 — The University of Delhi has issued a crucial advisory for students aspiring to join its undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2025–26. With the second phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) set to begin in the coming week, the university has urged candidates to prepare in advance, given the compressed admission timeline.
According to the advisory, the academic session is scheduled to commence on August 1, 2025, leaving only a brief window—possibly just one week—for students to complete Phase II of the admission process. To ensure a smooth experience, DU has recommended that applicants finalise their list of preferred programmes and colleges in advance.
Students who have not yet registered for Phase I of CSAS are strongly encouraged to do so immediately, as only registered candidates will be eligible to participate in the preference-filling round.
The advisory also underscores the importance of informed decision-making during this critical stage. Applicants have been asked to stay vigilant and regularly check the official admissions portal — admission.uod.ac.in — for updates, announcements, and further instructions.
The university's proactive guidance is aimed at minimizing confusion and enabling candidates to make the most of the limited time available for seat allocation.
