Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 continues its strong box office run, though collections saw a slight dip on Wednesday. On April 8, the film earned under ₹10 crore, taking its total gross collection to ₹1,246.67 crore, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
Breaking Down the Numbers
Dhurandhar: The Revenge collected ₹7.90 crore net on Day 21 across 13,093 shows, pushing its total domestic net earnings to ₹1,041.27 crore.
Overseas, the film added ₹3.00 crore on the same day, bringing its international total to ₹407.00 crore. With this, the film’s worldwide gross has surged to ₹1,653.67 crore.
The film is now inching closer to surpassing Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 at the domestic box office. To claim the title of India’s highest-grossing film, Dhurandhar 2 still needs ₹192.83 crore more, as Pushpa 2 currently holds a domestic net collection of ₹1,234.10 crore.
Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 maintained steady momentum early in the week, earning ₹10.10 crore on Tuesday—almost matching its Monday performance.
The film had a phenomenal opening week, raking in ₹674.17 crore. However, collections saw a notable drop in the second week, with ₹263.65 crore coming from the domestic market.
Capitalising on an extended opening weekend, the film kicked off its theatrical run with ₹102.55 crore on March 19. During its first week, daily earnings consistently ranged between ₹40 crore and ₹60 crore, before slowing to ₹20–30 crore per day in the second week. Including paid previews on March 18, the film had already collected ₹43 crore.
The sequel has also surpassed the domestic net collection of S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, which had earned ₹1,030.42 crore.
