What Is A Google Doodle?

A Google Doodle is a temporary artistic modification of the Google logo displayed on its homepage to mark special occasions, anniversaries, achievements, and notable personalities.

The first Google Doodle appeared in 1998 when Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin added a Burning Man symbol to inform users they were out of the office.
