IIM Lucknow Launches Blended MBA Programme for Working Professionals and Entrepreneurs

Lucknow, July 13, 2025: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has announced the launch of its Blended Master of Business Administration (bMBA) programme, a two-year postgraduate course aimed at working professionals and entrepreneurs who wish to accelerate their career growth without taking a break from their jobs.

The programme is now open for registration until August 18, 2025, through the official IIM Lucknow website: iiml.ac.in/programmes/bmba. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for online interviews between September 1 and 3, 2025, and classes are scheduled to commence on September 25, 2025.

Designed to offer flexibility through a hybrid learning format, the bMBA integrates online learning modules with in-person campus immersion, ensuring that participants can manage their professional responsibilities while benefiting from classroom engagement with faculty and peers.

The curriculum spans six terms, beginning with core foundational courses in the first year, followed by specialized electives in the second year. Areas of specialization include Strategy, Finance, Marketing, IT Systems, Operations & Supply Chain Management, and Human Resources, closely modeled on IIM Lucknow’s flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP). A Capstone project at the end of the programme will provide participants with the opportunity to apply their learning to real-world business scenarios.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum three years of full-time work experience after graduation

• Minimum age of 24 years

• Completion of at least 15 years of formal education with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA

Candidates with professional qualifications such as CA (ICAI), CS (ICSI), or ICWA/CMA (ICAI) are also eligible to apply. Those with foreign degrees must ensure equivalence through recognition by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Admission to the bMBA programme will be based on a combination of the candidate’s academic record, work experience, and test scores, followed by an online personal interview.
