In order to help tribals acquire digital skills and make them self-employed, the Central University of Odisha (CUO) has collaborated with the Forum for Integrated Development and Research (FFIDR) to establish a digital tribal literacy centre.
In a virtual programme, Asit Das, registrar, CUO yesterday signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the research and development organisation for three years, a varsity release said.
S K Palita, acting vice-chancellor, CUO said that the university located in Koraput district would offer a digital literacy programme to students belonging to tribal and marginalised communities of the region with the support of the research and development institute.
