University of Chitkara launches India Innovation Championship



The 'India Innovation Challenge-2021' (IIC-2021) was launched by Chitkara University to finance fests and university-driven platforms for upcoming start-ups. Built to provide innovators and thinkers to participate in a grand event to be mentored by fast-tracking impact-savvy innovations with their fresh and novel projects. The Championship is open to innovators, developers, designers, thinkers, students, engineers, scientists, coders.


The innovators will bid for angel investor funds worth Rs 40 lakhs from the Orbit Future Academy and Angel Investors Network, 10 lakhs worth of cash reward from Chitkara University with approximately Rs 1 Crore in total prize and grant money.


Innovative, entrepreneurs, designers, thinkers, students, developers, scientists, coders, trainers, academics from any background may participate from various walks of life. Also, the chosen top 25 creative ideas will have optional access and grant for a 3-week accelerator program run by the Network of Chandigarh Angels (CAN).
