BSEH Class 10 Exams: Haryana board to promote students based on internal assessment

Haryana's government has issued new guidelines for evaluating students in class ten. Haryana board exams for class 10 were cancelled after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). After reviewing the situation on June 1, the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) today agreed to follow suit and conduct the exams for class 12.

The Board School of Education Haryana (BSEH) recently issued a notification instructing schools to use the same assessment activities as the central board and to plan class 10 students' results. The decision was made due to the COVID-19 outbreak's deteriorating situation across the region.

In December 2020, the state board reopened the schools. At the same time, students were doing internal assessments and planning assignments. Moreover, during the lockdown, students were required to apply online assignments. As a result, students will be graded based on their performance on internal assignments and online projects.

Haryana board exams for classes 10 and 12 were set to start on April 22 and 20, respectively. However, class 10 exams have been cancelled, with a final decision on class 12 exams to be made on June 1.
