Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin Makes Commentary Debut in IPL 2026

For the first time in his career, former India spin maestro Ravichandran Ashwin is set to step into the commentary box for the IPL 2026 season. The CSK legend, known for his sharp cricketing mind and engaging storytelling, will lend his voice and insights to live matches on JioStar.

Ashwin will be part of a star-studded commentary panel featuring some of the biggest names in the game. Joining him are former India opener Virender Sehwag, RCB icon AB de Villiers, and ICC Men's T20 World Cup winner Irfan Pathan.

The lineup also includes CSK’s IPL-winning stars Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh, along with former CSK captain Faf du Plessis. Adding further experience to the panel is former RCB captain and mentor Anil Kumble.
