In Jaipur, a week-long commemoration of Sanskrit Day will begin on August 22 with a series of lectures.
Diverse Sanskrit scholars, poets, critics, and senior officers of the state government will participate in the event, which is being organised jointly by Rajasthan Sanskrit Academy and Sanskrit University, and will conduct talks on various topics.
The event will include a detailed debate on the historical value of Sanskrit, Swarajya and Gandhi, policy growth of Sanskrit education, worldwide situation, and linguistic relevance, according to Dinesh Kumar Yadav, divisional commissioner and administrator of the school.
