More ‘Indian’ syllabus likely for school students from 2023-24


A new curriculum might be taught to school students in India starting in the academic year 2023–2024. According to information obtained, the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), a document used to guide the creation of Indian school textbooks, will likely be completed by the beginning of the following year.


The new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 of the government includes the development of the NCF. According to sources in the education ministry, the redesigned curriculum will emphasise kids' "rootedness in India" and foster "a sense of pride" in them.
